Lucineh Kechejian is an MFA student in writing at Columbia University School of the Arts. As a writer, Lucineh is driven by fiction and fantasy. She believes that understanding fantasy as a genre in literature and writing is a fascinating way to view how people understand the world around them. She is currently working on a personal fantasy fiction project in hopes of publishing a game and book series.

 

Lucineh earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology and English with a concentration in creative writing from Hofstra University, and  while attending HU, she wrote a systematic review paper and delivered a presentation on emotional regulation and recognition in schizotypal personality disorder.

 

Lucineh has also worked in finance. She has advertised apps on social media platforms, conducted stock market research, generated examples of ETF risk measurement through AI and data science, provided insight into simplified stock risk management through an investment portfolio, and worked on various aspects of payment card industry compliance (e.g., tracked evidence).

 

Lucineh volunteers with Long Island's Tabletop Expo every spring. At HU, she served as president of the Hofstra Tabletop Gamer's Club and she also volunteered with Crisis Text Line.
